D & A, its agents, affiliates, and contractors may send text messages to the phone number(s) you provide us to service your account(s) or collect debt(s) placed with us, including text messages sent from an automatic texting or dialing system. We may contact you on a mobile, wireless, or similar device. Message and data rates may apply from your carrier. D & A does not charge you for any communications.

D & A allows you to opt back in to the text message service if you prefer. To opt in, D & A recognizes the following keyword sent from an applicable phone number (not case-sensitive):

You consent that following such a request to unsubscribe, you may receive a one-time text message from D & A confirming your removal from the text message service. Message and data rates may apply from your carrier. D & A does not charge you for any communications. 

Unsubscribing from D & A’s text message service will not revoke or cancel any other types of permissions you may have given D & A regarding the phone number used to opt in to the text messaging service.

By subscribing to our text messaging services, you may receive varies collection messages such as payment request messages or contact reminder messages. This is a recurring message program. The number that you will receive text messages from will be 38878.

Accounts placed with us that are inactive, closed, subject to a cease request, or otherwise prohibited from text message contact are excluded from the text message service.  Text messages may not be available in certain states, depending on D & A policy and applicable law.  

If you opt in to D & A’s text message service, you confirm the phone number(s) you provide are yours and no one else will use the provided phone number(s) to communicate with D & A, unless first confirmed with D & A directly.  We assume any phone number(s) you provide us are not workplace phone numbers and do not reveal contents of communications to third parties, even if text messages sent from D & A may appear on the face of your mobile device.

Deactivation: If the phone number you used to opt in to D & A’s text message service becomes deactivated, D & A will remove the phone number from its text messaging service and may send a one-time text message confirming the phone number’s removal from the text messaging service.

Right to Terminate:  D & A reserves the right to terminate this text message service, in whole or in part, at any time without notice.  The information in any message may be subject to certain time lags and/or delays.

In addition, you understand that D&A may still send written communications by US Postal mail and call you unless otherwise prohibited.
